Miquel Herrero-Cortell
PhD in Art History from the University of Lleida.
With a dual training (degree in Fine Arts and graduate in Art History; Master in Artistic Production and Master in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage), he has focused his career in art-historical and scientific research focused on the material and technical development of painting, specializing in the pictorial praxis from the Renaissance to the twentieth century.  For more than five years she has conducted her research at the Centre d'Art d'Època Moderna (CAEM) of the University of Lleida, where she has worked in the field of image diagnosis applied to historical-artistic heritage. She has made international stays in centers such as the Laboratorio di Analisi Non Invasive su Opere d'Arte (LANIAC) of the Università di Verona, or the Max-Planck Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence, and has participated in several international research projects. He currently combines teaching as a professor of Art History (UPV) with diagnostic and procedural research on painting.
